Why do we need donations?
Small break down of costs:
$250+ per female cat &$180+ per male for desex, microchip, & vaccination
Deflea & deworming $35 per cat per month
$50-$60 food per cat per month (not including prescription diets which cost more)
$20-$30 per month per cat for litter
And this doesn't include the toys, beds, treats, other veterinary costs for dentals, respiratory illnesses, pregnancies, skin issues, housing, cleaning etc etc etc.... you get the picture!
We do this because we can't stand by & watch Victorian pounds euthanise over 14,000 cats per year. We help them by taking their tougher cases & try to help the community before impoundment even becomes an option.
