OUR MISSION IS TO RESCUE, REHABILITATE AND REHOME STRAY AND SURRENDERED CATS AND KITTENS ACROSS VICTORIA.
WHETHER THEY’RE SWEET, SPICY OR SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN.
We’re based in Essendon, but we help cat-loving humans in need all around Victoria. Our specialty is rehabilitating former street cats, because gradually gaining their trust and eventually having our love reciprocated is a feeling like no other.
With the support of our generous donors, foster carers and volunteers, we’ve rehomed over 450 cats and kittens since 2023.
That’s 450+ little lives made longer, happier and safer, off the streets and in warm, cosy forever homes.
But we’re not slowing down any time soon.
We’re in the process of renovating our facility, with the aim of turning it into a cat café and cattery, and ultimately setting up a vet surgery to offer low-cost desexing to locals.
Along with our last litter program, this will be our way of both giving back to the community and stemming the cat overpopulation problem in Victoria’s western suburbs.

FOR ADOPTION
TISH
Tish is a sweet, silly and absolutely stunning girl who enjoys her personal space but is never far away. She’s not a fan of other cats, so will need to be a solo queen in her forever home.
CHICKEN
Chicken has gone from shy and hissy to sweet and smoochy in the space of just a few weeks. He loves other cats (particularly his foster brother, Franklin) and has become comfortable with people, too!
FRANKLIN
Franklin started his life on the streets, and came to us very scared of humans – but now, he’s blossomed into a beautiful little companion. He also gives the sweetest head bumps, and his elevator butt is fully functional!
If you’d like to apply to adopt one of our cats or kittens, please complete our questionnaire (linked below). One of our volunteers will be in touch to organise a meet and greet with your potential future furry family member/s, either at our facility in Essendon (currently under renovation) or at their foster carer’s home.

JACK

Sweet former street cat Jack is as shy as he is beautiful (very). If you can convince him to sit still for a pat, his long fur is incredibly soft. He loves treats and will gently take them from your hand! With some 1:1 attention, we’re sure he’ll learn to trust and tap into his smooch potential.
SALLY

Sally’s a hissy little miss, and will run for the hills if you try to touch her - but she never goes to swipe or bite, so we know it’s all talk. She’s very food motivated and at dinner time, will meow non-stop until she’s fed - just part of her charm! Can you tame this hissy princess?
ELVIRA

Although our resident Hisstress of the Dark is currently touch-averse, we believe she has the potential to become less reactive with some dedicated 1:1 time and attention, and possibly the company of a friendly feline who can teach her that humans aren't that bad (and neither are pats).
We rely heavily on our foster carers to help us socialise shy or spicy adult cats and prepare them for their forever homes, as unfortunately, we don't have the capacity to spend meaningful 1:1 time with each of them.
Also, as we are a no-kill rescue and keep cats until they find their perfect family, we are often overloaded with surrendered or former stray adult cats at any given time. The more foster carers we are able to recruit, the more cats we can rescue.
As one of our foster carers, you are instrumental in saving these cats' lives.
(Not to mention, as we are a registered charity, any purchases (over $2) you make for your foster cat/s are tax-deductible.)
